True Metallics are Turbo Dork's line of realistic metal-finish paints. Where their standard Metallics range offers colour variety (pinks, purples, teals), True Metallics focus on the metals you actually need most: gold, silver, copper, and bronze.

The pigment quality is a step up from most hobby metallics, with smooth application, no graininess, and a convincing metal sheen that holds up to close inspection. The mica flakes are fine enough that you get a smooth, even coat without the grittiness that plagues most hobby metallics.

The True Metals set gives you all four core metals in one purchase. If you only need one, Bullion (gold) is the most versatile; it works for trim, jewellery, weapons, and armour details across almost any army. Six Shooter is a great addition to any painter's collection. Applying as a base for your silvers will add greater depth to your armour and weapons. 

Pairs well with 

True Metallics work brilliantly over a black or dark brown primer (for a slightly different hue). For non-metallic areas, Two Thin Coats triads give you matched base colours that complement the metallic finish.
