Relicblade

Relicblade is a miniature skirmish game by Sean Sutter. Small warbands, quick games, and some of the most characterful miniatures in tabletop gaming. We've stocked Relicblade since the beginning because it represents everything we believe in: thoughtful design, independent production, and a creator who genuinely cares about the community.

Games play in 30–45 minutes with just a handful of models per side; typically 4–6 each. The rules are clean and accessible, but there's real tactical depth once you learn the system. You can go from opening the box to playing your first game in a single evening. It's a brilliant entry point if you're burned out on games that demand hundreds of models and dozens of hours before you can play, or want something to play between larger games.

We carry the full range: Path of the Advocate, Path of the Adversary, rulebooks, and expansions.

Where to start

New to Relicblade? The Relicblade Starter Set has everything two players need: miniatures, rules, dice, and cards. One box, one evening, your first game.

Prefer solo or co-op? Catacombs of Kural is superb, a dungeon-crawling adventure you can play alone or with a friend.

Want to learn more before you buy? Our Getting Started with Relicblade guide covers what's in each box, how the factions work, and what to buy after the starter set.

Painting your warband

Relicblade miniatures are some of the most rewarding models to paint — the sculpts have character and clean detail that takes paint beautifully. If you need paints, Two Thin Coats triads are ideal for the organic textures (skin, cloth, leather), and Turbo Dork Turboshifts make weapons and magical effects pop (Chris loves Hemogoblin on weapons and shields). A Red Grass wet palette makes the whole process smoother.
